If there is no good deep sea fishing for some reason, you might decide to bottom fish for yellow tail snapper, trigger fish or grouper.
Sailfish and Marlin are caught and then released to avoid depleting the local population.
The best fishing in the Riviera Maya is just off the coast.
This makes for good sightseeing of the coast’s white sand Caribbean beaches.
